Sarah Clarke Quarter Horses is based in Palmerston North and is home to some of the highest quality Quarter Horses in New Zealand. Bred to excel at halter and western performance, only the best sires and dams are used as part of our breeding program, as they must be competitive in open, all breeds competition. All of our foals carry the leading bloodlines available in the world today, through imported sires/frozen semen and/or imported dams.
This very successful breeding program is based on a small group of elite broodmares, and despite only producing 1-2 foals per year, has produced a string of National Champions. Our first mare, Teseres was initially bred in 1997, but due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, her first live foal was not born until 2001. That filly (SC Zips Custom Made) went on to win the 2003 AQHA-NZ National Yearling Halter Futurity, and the rest, as they say, is history.............
